It has finally started to warm up here in Indiana, so I am back at it. If you look at the December 2007 entry, you can see where the rust was around the body mount on the floor just in front of the front passenger seat. As usual there is always more rust than what is obvious. There was also some damage at the bottom of the A pillar and front half of the rocker panel from an accident that my grandfather had shortly after he bought the car new. When all the damage and rust was cut out this is the hole that was left. I cut out a larger section out of my parts car and drilled out all the plug welds and separated each piece. The next step is to sandblast and prep each of the pieces and then weld them back into the hole one piece at a time.
