I have been working on the car so much lately that I haven't even had time to update this site. I got almost all of the rust in the underside of the car fixed. Then I bought a pressure blaster, made a sandblast room out of a huge tarp and some other things, and sandblasted the bottom of the car. It took two days of hard work to get it finished. My 5 horsepower, 60 gallon tank compressor didn't have the power to do it fast, and the plastic view piece in my hood kept getting fogged up. By the time I was finished, it was so scratched up that I could barely see anything out of it. I probably would have just taken the body somewhere and had it done, but I really want to do as much of the work on the car myself.

Today I wiped down the bare metal with phosphoric acid and tomorrow I will paint it with POR 15.
